    GE全球运营基本介绍


    GE全球运营是近年来GE新近整合的重要机构。作为GE跨职能部门、跨业务集团、跨地区的共享服务中心,GE全球运营为公司的各个业务集团及地区提供专业、高效、优质的运营咨询及服务,以帮助业务集团在财务运营、人力资源运营、采购服务、设施管理、环境健康与安全等多个专业领域实现成本优化、流程标准化,从而更好地满足我们的业务伙伴及客户的需求。

    目前,GE在全球范围内设立了四大运营中心,两个全球交付团队,正式雇员共计约9,000余人。其中,亚太中心设立在中国上海。


    GE全球运营亚太区

    目前GE全球运营亚太区规模约为2000余人,其中位于上海浦东的中心聚集了1000余名专业人才(占总人数47%),其余员工分布于亚太各个分中心。一个中心加多个分中心结合的模式是GE近年来在共享服务领域不断探索所取得的成果。这种模式保证了运营中心为包括大中国区、日本、韩国、新加坡、马来西亚、印度尼西亚、越南、菲律宾、泰国、柬埔寨、印度、澳大利亚、新西兰等在内的17个国家和地区的业务提供多职能共享服务。


    GE全球运营亚太区负责在GE内部建立并运营世界一流的企业运营流程,包括财务运营、供应链管理、人力资源运营、税务、企业数据管理、IT、商务运营、法务、司库管理等。这些企业运营流程的建立保证了公司在中国及亚太地区的业务得以更为顺利地开展。


    2015年,GE全球亚太区荣获“CGMA”年度最佳财务共享服务中心,以及中国人力资源共享服务中心价值大奖—最佳管理实践奖。


    GE全球运营亚太区在2016年度共享服务与外包峰会上荣获最佳转型奖荣誉大奖以及最佳共享服务团队奖荣誉大奖。

    Introduction to Global Operations


    GE Global Operations is GE’s multi-functional shared services organization focusing on delivering better outcomes at lower cost for our businesses and our customers. 


    Global Operations delivers processes at scale to create capacity and enables GE growth. The strong partnership between Global Operations and GE Businesses creates a collaborative work culture and broadens best practice and industry knowledge sharing across the enabling functions. 


    We believe that by keeping GE customers at the heart of everything we do, we will help GE work smarter, better and faster, allowing GE businesses to be more competitive in the global marketplace.


    Four GE Global Operations centers and two global delivery teams (GDT) are established around globe,among which Asia center is located in Pudong, Shanghai. 

    GE Global Operations Asia


    Global Operations Asia currently has a scale of ~2,000 employees, among which 1000+ experts (47%) are in its center facility in Pudong, Shanghai. The remaining talents are scattered in different sites in Asia Pacific. 


    The close collaboration between center and sites enables Global Operations Asia to provide multi-functional shared services to GE businesses in 17 countries and regions in Asia Pacific (including Greater China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippine, Thailand, Cambodia, India, Australia, New Zealand, etc. ) . The organization is currently covering 6 time zones with 12 languages capability.


    Global Operations Asia builds and executes world class processes across the company, including finance processes such as source to pay, fixed assets, record -to-report, stat-to-tax, invoice-to-cash, travel & living, tax, controllership, finance planning & analysis, and operation functions such as sourcing, customs, property management, payroll, HR operations, etc., to better serve GE business operations in China and all over Asia.


    In 2015, Global Operations Asia was awarded the Best Practice of Finance Shared Services Center of the year by CGMA, and also won China HR Shared Services Center Value Awards — Best HRSSC Management Award.


    In 2016, Global Operations Asia was awarded Excellence in 

    Transformation and Best Shared Service Team by SSON in the 5th Shared Service & Outsourcing Week (SSOW) China.
